Sketch Challenge With Stampsmith #20

It's been so long since I played with the Stampsmith Challenge, so I think this week was a good one to do so! I used the Stampsmith italian tarot stamps to make the background of my 6" x 6" card and I also used an image for the top of the card where I stamped L'amour est éternel. Sketches are not always easy to work with but it was a fun challenge!
Have a creative Monday!

A Before And After Project

I had this wooden money box since so long.... I decide to alter it in some way. I wanted to make something that no one will know that it was a money box. I simply added a lid/roof to look like a house. I made the lid from chipboard and kraft paper.
I also covered the edges of the box so now it looks like a paper maché box...... please note my cup of milky coffee at the right side!!
The lid/roof open
I used 7gypsies patterned paper to cover it.

Now, you all know about my secret money box!
Have a creative week-end!

Alter It Monthly Challenge - Sirens And Deep Blue Sea!

This month at Alter it monthly the theme is Siren/Mermaid, ok, since I am not completely bilingual, is there any difference between a siren and a mermaid? I think no but maybe I'm wrong. So this month I altered a clear plastic box. You know, we all buy stuff and this was a box of pencil. And I choose to make a bird mermaid!!!! Yes, a bird mermaid! After I finished it, I just realized that it looks like a small aquarium with my mermaid inside! I had fun doing this challenge again!

And I gave her a real false pearl necklace!
Have a creative Wednesday!

Happy, Happy Mail!

Bonsoir everyone! Today I want to show you some stamps I got in my mailbox lately. Today I received these that I won at Danielle's blog. They are great! I can't wait to play with them!
She also send me a double side tag with Dorothy and her friends. Sorry for the not so good photo, because today there was no sun in the sky! Just clouds!

And the other day I received an envelope from UK. I didn't expect anything from there. The so talented Lynne send me these cancellations postmarks stamps (Québec and Ontario) Aren't these incredible! If you don't know Lynne or Danielle, I suggest to go to visit their blogs! In the photo I wanted to show the little embellishment I made with shrink plastic and the postmark stamp. I think they 're cute!
Thank you so much Creative Ladies!

GrungeBoard Bracelet

I have been inspired by this Blog to make my own grungeboard bracelet!. I colored it with broken china distress ink. Some sewing, eyelets, a french quote, I also added a black bead and a button. It closes with a snap fastener. How easy!
Have a creative Sunday!
