Tag Tuesday - Arbor Day

This week Rebecca is challenging us to make an arbor day tag! Here is mine, I don't have any big tree stamp(!) so I cut one from cardstock. I stamp the official date on the clouds and added the quote plant a tree and it will grow, the real quote is plant a seed and it will grow tho...

Have a creative Tuesday!

Tag Tuesday - Easter!

It's been a couple of weeks since I played the Challenge Garden... This week Rebecca is challenging us to make an Easter Tag, how easy is that!! The bunny is shrink plastic. I followed this great tutorial except I used my heat gun not my oven. And I inked her apron with stazon after the shrinking step.

Here's a little close-up of Miss Bunny!

Voilà! Happy Easter Everyone!

Paper Flowers

I tried to find the link where I found how to make these and I failed! The lady was using 3 different sizes of paper flower shape punches. Since I don't even have one flower shape paper punch I bought these flowers at the dollar store. In each package there is 8 different colors in 4 sizes. For the bigger flower I don't use the smaller ones. You'll need a spray bottle filled with water, a paint brush and a stylus.

You'll need 4 large flowers, 3 medium and 3 small. Punch holes in the middle of each flower and attached with a brad. The color doesn't mind, you won't see it anyway.

Spray with water and fold the first layer, I think it works well with the stylus, maybe you can work with a tooth pick if you don't have a stylus. I spray water between each layers before to fold the petals.

This is what it should look like when the 3 first layers are done.

I also use my fingers to help squeeze the bigger petals

After all 3 medium layers are squeezed, it should look like this. Don't forget to spray water, enough but not too much!

It is done now and the fun begins...

With the tip of the paint brush or a small dowel roll down each petals during the flower is still wet

I don't touch the middle Voilà! Here is the result. Leave it alone to dry.

Of course if you want to make smaller flowers, use smaller brads too!

Have fun!

What's On My Workdesk This Wednesday?? Flowers. I am almost finished to sort these flat flowers by colors, and yes they come from the dollar store.

You can also see that I started my tag tuesday challenge but it is not done yet. (the tag with the puzzle piece.

And here is the result of the flat flowers. The bigger ones take more than 2 days to dry. I am going to a crop this saturday and I want to have plenty of these flowers. We will create a mini 3" x 3" album, so I think the small one will be great to fit in there, oh well, I'll see!

It is still time to sign for my GIVEAWAY I'll draw a winner this saturday morning before to go to the crop...

Have a creative Wednesday!
