Recycled Art Box

Today I am sharing the way I am making my little art box (for wall or as shelfsitter). I have several of these almost 4" x 6" sturdy old game boxes.
I first attached the lid to the bottom with masking tape. And glued some paper strips all around.
And finished by gluing some paper on the front and back.
I don't like mod podge or gesso so I transfered my own pattern directly on the vintage paper.
I colored the image with my distress inks.
Added some shadows
Added some details
Added more shadows
Added some highlights and I was done.
Enjoy art!
Have a creative Sunday!

An Altered Tin Case For My 200th Posts!

Incedible! It is my 200th posts on my blog. Never I thought I would go this far when I first started all this! Today I am sharing this altered tin for my in-laws. Soon they will have a party for their anniversary. This is the cover.
Inside I made 4 individual cards for them to sign in. Hubby has 2 brothers and a sister.
Here is my sweet hubby when he was ±13!
This is it for today!

City Crafter Challenge- Guest Designer

Woot-Woot! This week at City Crafter Challenge Blog, you have to use polka dots on your project and I am a guest designer! So I make a real faux clipboard. I draw and stamped a landscape and colored it with my distress inks thin with water. I added polka dots everywhere. LOL!
Here a little close-up of the house
Come to play with us!
Have a creative Thursday!

Art Journal Challenge At The Craft Barn

I found a fun challenge at the craft barn and decided to play along. So here is my page and I just finished it earlier this morning. I used my distress ink and some water to color my drawing.
Have a creative Tuesday!
