A New Challenge

The challenge at Tando Creative is flower this time. Since I got these little house frames I wanted to make a pendant out of it. I stamped some flowers to the frame and I also made the tiny paper rosette. I glued the frame to a bigger flower and covered everything with glossy accent.

Nerver Ending Card at The Craft Barn

I love making never ending cards. The challenge with these is to decorate them without thick embellishments.

 

And here I played a little bit more with watercolor paper and distress inks.

StazOn jet black

Kanban stamp set: Little friend, Big Hugs

Distress inks: Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Rusty Hinge, Brocken China, Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain

Mini Album at The Craft Barn

                      This week at TheCraftBarn it is all about mini album. So this is my mini accordion album.

 

1. Cut 2 strips of black cardstock (±5¼" high) and fold every 2¼" to get an accordion. Cut with the artfulldwelling die. Cut 2 thin cardboard as well to make front and back cover.
2. Choose your paper and die cut as well.
3. With the TCW chickenwire template add some texture paste here and there. Let dry.
4. Color the texture paste and stamp some ink stains. Ink edges

Stamp the sentiments and image on matching cardstock. Cut and ink edges.

Glue everything on the accordion. The closure is made from a felt ornament cover with texture paste and color with dusty concor. Satin ribbon go through the ornament and a button.

Die Cutting Week At The Craft Barn

This week at TheCraftBarn is a die cutting week. I used the Sizzix Silverware die to make a mobile.

1 Stamp Set - 6 Ways - The craft Barn

For this project I made a page in my creative book. I first drew the sailor. All other images are stamped images from the Hobby Art Harbor set. I found a matching quote that I printed out from the computer. I water coloured with distress inks and added some black stain from the Indigoblu Yorshire Evening Post set.

The CraftBarn - Mother's Day

1. Take a paper mache shoe

2. Cover with paper

3. Color with distress ink and some book pages as well for the flowers
4. Glue the paper lace inside the shoe. Add polka dots and glossy accent

5. I used 3 strips (1¼" x 6¼") and cut

6. Roll the 3 strips together but not too tight and glue
7. open
8. Add a center.

9. Cut a circle and trim

10. Fold
11. Roll
12. And glue. Make 3

 Choose a matching image for the facet. I used glossy accent to stick the image to the facet and added an extra coat on the back so she will be able to wear it as a pendant.

And glue everything on the shoe. I also wrap small chocolates.
