My Daughter wanted a new journal and she asked me to use this photo on it! So I hope she'll like it, because she didn't see it yet! I just finished it! I think she will laugh when she sees herself in fairy! She asked for something "younger", not too vintage... It was not that easy!

A 2nd Place!

For my day and night job, I am working for a huge company that have stores all across Canada. For the third year they organized a Christmas Card Contest. The theme this year was the cultural diversity. So I translated Joyeux Noël in 4 different languages and added them to my ornaments. You can't see it much, but all snowflakes and ornaments are heat embossed and the blue ornaments were not blue but dark aqua. I think my scanner have some color problems.... So I won the second place. When the lady called me on last friday, I was very happy!

Vintage Book Images

Today I am sharing some vintage images. These come from old french books, children books in fact. You can save them in your computer and use them as you wish. The pages are perfectly yellowed. And I think those birds are lovely!

Mini Pizza Boxes

I am a new member of a local scrapbooking forum. These ladies are very well orgazined and there is a place to discover new stuff and guess what, I discovered something! Mini pizza boxes I have never seen these before and I think they're pretty cool! Ready to hold a small gift, some cards, notes, photos... I made the original 4 X 4. It is big enough to hold a mini album or coasters!

Why stop there? So I made a 2 X 2 box and I decorated the top.

And I finaly made a 3 X 3 box and decorated it as a Christmas ornament. The box still open, so I can hide something in there!

I tried to make a 1 X 1 box, but it was too small!

Motivation Book: The End!

A year has gone, my motivation book is finished now. Remember I was taking a photo every 11th of each month to keep my motivation at a high level. A full year is in this little book. Now I have to find a new challenge for myself and I think I found it! But this is not the subject of this post! So this is the last 4 pages. This is the month of July. This photo was taken in my home.

This is August and this is the only photo that was not taken on the 11th. I simply forgot! Incredible!! And I think it is my favorite page, it is very simple but the colors have some energy!

Now September, the journaling tag is hiding in the little envelope on the left. It doesn't show much but the pocket watch frame is heat embossed in silver color. This is a huge stamp!

And finaly, October. I choose to not put my face on the last page but I put my shoes that I walk with. So 11th october was my 3rd anniversary of having a much more better life style. The journaling is not done yet, I'll do it probably tonight!

13 Octobre 1999

Today, October 13th, it's 11 years that my mother left us for a better world! She was so sick. She had lung cancer. I didn't make this page recently but I think it's an excellent day to share it with you! It's made from thin plywood. I painted it, sanded it and stamped it. It's a tribute for her. Her name was Jacqueline.

I often use these photos in my other creations, she would laugh so much seing this!

They Are Talking About My Tags!!

Yay!! This brand new magazine is talking about my tags! Very happy about this! Except they wrote Esty instead of Etsy in the description! Oups...

Also the lady added 2 of my tags in her creative layout! How fun is that!

Santa Blog-along Giveaway!

Linda at A Swap For All Seasons is having a giveaway for the participants of the current swap. And yes, I am one of the lucky participants (it was to make a matchboxes countdown) I think we are 75 or so participants in there. So much fun!! Mary Green's Challenge

Mary at Green Paper is having another fun challenge for October. You have to create something with the 3 images she gives on her blog. So I choose to use the images for the cover of my new journal. The photo of the 2 sisters is so lovely, I didn't want to alter it too much. I took a before and after photo just because... Thank's again to Mary for those lovely images!
