Tag Tuesday - Spoon

I'm back! I had some trouble with blogger again! I lost all of my followers :( ... I don't know if they will be back...My tag was ready on tuesday but I was not able to post, log or leave a comment, anywhere. So about this challenge now, Rebecca is challenging us this week with the theme spoon! I was playing with my shrink plastic and I added to my mannequin... spoon arms! This is the smallest tag I ever made for a challenge.

Two And A Half Pages!

It was a fun crop yesterday! And I finished 2 - 12 x 12 and 1 - 6 x 12! The first one was to used at least 5 things that we had for more than 2 years! My title was inspired by the book Eat, pray, love and I change it to Eat, sleep, scrap. This photo is from 1999.

This time I used another photo of me at my first year of school (way back to 1971). The title means Unique like everybody. This challenge was to used some paint on the background. I used crackle paint

And I made this 6 x 12 just because! The title is Finally a new photo! Hubby doesn't like much the camera. But I got this one!

What A Surprise!!!

Stampers' Sampler Catch Up Issue published one of my card! I think the challenge was to make a Halloween card using not related halloween stamps. I didn't know I was in there and I had to check it twice!! LOL Very happy with this. They made my day/week/month!!! There is so much to look in there, so many talented women. Wonderful issue!

Tomorrow I'm going to a crop...I can't wait! Hopefully I'll come back with a few pages!

Tag Tuesday - Strawberry

This week Rebecca is challenging us with the theme Strawberry! Hum... I love strawberries. Usually at the end of June every year we're going to pick some directly in the field. But this year, it is raining so much, I don't think they will be ready in time. So I made a banner on my tag! Hopefully no one will say that I am a little bit obsessed with banners these days!! Even if all of my projects lately have a banner on it! LOL

A New Album

So blogger is back!!! I lost some comments on my last post but that's all! Today I want to show you the new album I made for my 6x12 pages. I just love this quote: Smile like every thing is going your way even if it isn't. I wanted to use some chicago bolt to hold the album together but I can't find them, so I took some rings for now. I think I have to organize a little bit my crafty space...

Simplement Toi

Here is a 6 x 12 layout with a photo of my younger daughter. The title is Simplement Toi, means Simply You. All of these incredible papers are from Glitz. I also used their clear stamps, except for the butterfly, the quote and the postmark.

Oh my!! I turned 45 last friday! How did that happen??? I don't know but I made a page this week-end with butterflies, as I needed some lightness!

A New Challenge & A New Addiction

On Alter it monthly 's blog, I found a great challenge that inspired me. The theme is Out of the wood. So I altered a small paper bag with 2 covers that I cut from a clementine crate. This little girl is my mom in 1935. I glittered her wings and crown and I added the scrabble tile J because her name was Jacqueline!

And now my new addiction! It is to use my stamps directly on thin masonite and cut them with my scroll saw. I love my collection of new and unique embellishments. It is much more sturdy than chipboard. The pocket watch frame was made from a tattered angel stamp.

Paper Fun And A Walk

Yesterday, it was so Beautiful outside, I took a walk to the cemetry in the afternoon but the day started by doing some creations with my new stuff! I made some cards.

And I took some photos of the cemetary. The sky was so blue!

The river is still very high. Some houses got water in there basements at some point. But it is getting better for them, the rain stopped and the sun shines.
